The main areas of the website will include:

• Home/welcome page
• Portfolio or Products or Services
• Contact information such as address, phone number, a map with directions, business hours, etc.
• About - general information about who you are

Services Provided

I will provide you (Client) with the following services:

• Design and build the web pages, including text, graphics and photos as needed.
• Consult with you regularly.
• Take photographs for inclusion in the website, if requested.
• Test the site's pages, including all links.
• Transfer the website's files to the web host, to make the site "live" on the World Wide Web.
• Provide you with final copies of the website's files (*.htm, *.jpg, etc.).
• Submit the site to major search engines.
• Make the site available for review while under construction at the following address: www.johnbald.net/abc
• My fee for these services is $##/hour. The estimated total for this project is # hours ($##).
• I will notify you if any additional work outside of the scope of this proposal is necessary. Such work will be billed at my normal rate of $40/hour.

Site Hosting

I will set up your site with the web hosting company of your choice. If you do not have a domain (web address) yet, I will arrange to have one registered. Personally, I recommend Alentus hosting because of their services, technical support and price; however I will gladly work with whichever hosting company you choose. Typically, site hosting costs are roughly $100/year. For example, Alentus will host your site for $8.95/month (see Alentus.com for more information).

Copyright and Ownership

You, the Client, are the sole owner of the  website’s contents and copyright.

Submission to Search Engines

I will submit the site to the major search engines who accept site submissions at no charge (Yahoo, Google, Netscape, etc.).

Billing

All work on this project performed by John Bald will be billed to the Client at a rate of $## per hour (smallest increment is 1/4 hour). Work will be billed regularly. Any amounts unpaid thirty days after the invoice date may have interest added at the rate of .015 per month, not to exceed 18% per annum.
